Interview with Alex Ellery
Self-replication, Lunar Industrial Ecology, and Space Colonization
This is an interview I did a while back and one of my favorite things that I’ve ever produced. I got to talk to Dr. Alex Ellery about some practical plans for extremely futuristic things. Unfortunately the podcast that I did the interview for has been on a long-term hiatus but I hope to pick it back up again at some point.
Finally got to dig more into this. Quite interesting! Neither physics nor lunar colonization nor self-replicating machines are anywhere near my wheelhouse, but it’s cool to find people who think through this stuff and are able to potentially even make those ideas a reality.
It’s hard to ask good questions in a natural, conversational way, but you did it here.
